Welcome!
I am a second year PhD student in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at Colorado State University.
My research lies at the intersection of environmental economics and applied microeconometrics. I study how environmental conditions, such as air pollution and extreme weather events, affect human behavior, welfare, and economic outcomes. I am particularly interested in understanding how individuals respond to environmental risks through behavioral adjustments and adaptation.
Before joining CSU, I worked on several national-level household surveys and taught economics at both undergraduate and high school levels in Nepal.
Outside of academia, I enjoy photography—particularly landscape, street, and astrophotography—and trekking in the mountains.
